Even Yehuda Villa

For this villa in Even Yehuda, the aim was to preserve the home’s quiet, simple and nostalgic character while adapting it to contemporary life. The original house, modest in its design and oriented toward the generous garden, carried a sense of another time, a quality we sought to preserve throughout the design process.

The house underwent a comprehensive renovation: the interior spaces were stripped back, partitions and openings were reconfigured, all systems were replaced, and both the exterior and garden were redesigned. Despite the extensive transformation, the original relationship between the house and garden, as well as the understated character of the architecture, was carefully retained.

One of the elements preserved was a large swing that had stood at the center of the garden long before the renovation. To us, it embodied the simple, peaceful spirit of the house and became a thread connecting its past with its future.

The design language continues this approach, with a soft, natural, earthy palette, restrained materials and carefully considered details. The result is a contemporary home that still carries something of the time in which it was built.
