Town House
A 300 sqm private house in Ramat Gan, set within two gardens totaling 350 sqm, was completely reconfigured for a family of five. The original 1980s house was redesigned around contemporary family life, with an open kitchen and living space, two separate home offices, generous storage, and flexible spaces for both family life and privacy.
The gardens were integrated into the living experience, with an outdoor kitchen and dining area on the upper level, and a play garden below with a treehouse and climbing wall.
The design draws on the homeowner’s work as a historian specializing in Jerusalem, combining references to Jerusalem, Armenian craft and Eastern European traditions. Custom hand-painted Armenian tiles by ceramic artist Armen Daryan bring color and character to the interior, while soft, indirect lighting echoes the atmosphere of the Old City.
Herringbone timber flooring, an extensive library and a collection of historical artworks complete the palette, creating a home where architecture, personal history and everyday family life come together.
