Town House

For a young family, I redesigned a 20-year-old three-story house set within a generous garden. The goal was to create a calm, timeless home tailored to the family’s way of life. The project was fully overseen from the initial planning through the selection of finishes, furniture and styling.

The living room openings were enlarged, the garden was brought closer to the interior, and the kitchen was opened to the main living space, creating a generous, continuous area connecting the kitchen, dining room, living room and garden.

The material palette combines neutral concrete tones, natural wood, muted green and earthy shades. The light flooring creates a quiet backdrop that highlights the greenery outside, while wood and warmer tones add depth and softness. Carefully selected accents and artwork reflect the character and personal world of the family.

The central staircase was reimagined with oak-clad steps and a steel railing. Two seven-meter-long wooden benches run through the main space, combining seating and storage while emphasizing its generous scale and continuity.
The result is a clean, minimalist home that remains warm and inviting, above all, a home shaped around the people who live in it.
